API reference

The AnswerStack API is the same API the account admin app uses. Everything you can do in the app, you can automate: manage playbooks and groups, read calls and analytics, and check usage. This reference is generated from the API’s OpenAPI document on every docs build, so it always matches the deployed API.

Base URL#

Examples read the API base URL from $ANSWERSTACK_API_URL and a token from $ACCESS_TOKEN:

Authentication#

Endpoints marked with a bearer token expect Authorization: Bearer <token>, where the token is the access token from signing in (Supabase Auth). Tokens are short-lived; refresh them with your Supabase client. Role checks apply on top of authentication, and every request only sees data for the caller’s own account.
