Brands
Your logo, colours, typeface and cover photo for booking pages, follow-up pages and the website widget, for the whole account or one community at a time.
A brand is how your public pages look: a logo, a cover photo, a main colour, an accent colour, a page background and a typeface. Set it once and your booking pages, follow-up pages and website widget all match.
Account brands and community brands#
- An account brand can be used by any community. Owners and admins make them.
- A community brand belongs to one community and only that community can use it. A community that looks different from the rest of the account, because it has its own name or its own website, can have its own.
Group managers can make and change their own communities' brands, unless an owner or admin turns off Communities can make their own brands. With it off, group managers still choose which brand their community uses, from the ones that exist, and brands already made keep working.
Make a brand#
Go to Settings → Brands and choose New brand. A group manager makes one on their community's Brand tab.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | Only your team sees it, to pick it from a list. |
| Who can use it | The whole account, or one community. |
| Logo | At the top of every page. PNG, JPEG, WebP or AVIF, up to 2 MB. A wide logo works best. |
| Cover photo | A wide photo across the top of a booking page. Up to 8 MB. A page can have its own instead. |
| Main colour | Buttons, the times on offer and the page's top edge. |
| Accent colour | Highlights on the follow-up page. |
| Page background | Behind everything. The sections stay white on it. |
| Typeface | One of three already on every phone, so nothing has to download. |
| Logo in emails | On the left or in the middle, at the top of every email. |
Logos and cover photos are uploaded here rather than linked from another website, so your pages never depend on a site you do not control.
Info
Colours are checked as you choose them. A colour nobody could read on your background, or a background too dark for the page's text, will not save, and the message says which one is the problem.
Which brand a page uses#
The first of these that is set wins:
- The page's own brand, on a booking page (under Basics in the page editor, with its own cover photo if you like).
- The community's brand, chosen on its Brand tab or under Which brand each community uses in Settings → Brands.
- The default brand for the account.
With none of them set, pages keep the look they have today. A booking page's own Colour, if you set one, still wins over its brand's main colour. A person's booking pages use the brand of the community they belong to, and a page listing several booking pages uses the community's brand.
Where a brand shows#
Booking pages and booking pages embedded on your website: the cover photo, logo, colours, background and typeface.
Follow-up pages: the logo, colours, background and typeface, in place of the playbook's Page style. A brand with no logo keeps the playbook's. A change shows on pages already sent, the same way a change to a community's address does.
Emails: staff alerts, caller emails and meeting emails show the logo (when it is a PNG or JPEG), the main colour for headings, links and buttons, the background around the email, and the typeface. See Emails.
The website widget: the logo, if the widget has none of its own, and the main colour on the launcher, the send button and the visitor's own messages. Everything else stays as you set it on the playbook's Web widget tab. If the brand's colour could not be read on the widget, the widget keeps its own.
Change or delete a brand#
Choose Edit next to it. Changes show everywhere the brand is used at once.
A brand in use cannot be deleted: the message says where it is used (the default, a community or a booking page). Choose another brand there first.
